Holly Johnson

One of the most recognisable and powerful voices from the eighties and principle songwriter of Frankie Goes to Hollywood, Holly Johnson enjoyed phenomenal commercial success during the 1980s with a multitude of hits. These include “Relax” (famously banned by the BBC and 7th bestselling single of all time in the UK), “Two Tribes” and “The Power of Love” reaching the number 1 spot in the UK: including the number 1 album “Welcome To The Pleasuredome”. After Holly and the band split, he went on to have an equally successful solo career, with platinum selling album Blast reaching the top of the charts in 1989 spawning four singles ; “Love Train” and ‘Americanos’ hit the top 5 followed by “Atomic City” and “Heaven’s Here”.
Having just released the deluxe album “Club Europa” Holly is ready to delight audiences once again at Rewind Scotland in 2016. Having appeared at Rewind Festivals in Henley and Perth previously to the audiences delight, you can expect an unforgettable and moving performance from Holly in 2016.
